How to watch NFL playoffs' divisional games

For pro-football fans, this might be the best weekend of the NFL season
Road to Super Bowl 50: 8 NFL teams battle on divisional weekend 05:49

After a wild card weekend that saw victories for all four road teams, the NFL playoffs continue Saturday with the divisional round and the return of the defending champion New England Patriots to the postseason after a bye.

The Patriots come back from their week off after closing out the regular season with back-to-back losses to the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins to lose the No. 1 seed in the AFC to the Denver Broncos. On Saturday, they'll host the Kansas City Chiefs, who shut out the Texans in Houston for their first playoff win since 1994.

Also Saturday, the Green Bay Packers take their newly jumpstarted offense to University of Phoenix Stadium against the Arizona Cardinals and veteran quarterback Carson Palmer, who are 6-2 at home this season.

On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks ride the momentum coming off of their wild win in Minnesota to North Carolina, where they'll face the Panthers, the No. 1 seed in the NFC who went undefeated through week 15. Seattle fans hoping for a repeat of last week's missed Vikings field goal may want to know that Panthers kicker Graham Gano made 83.3 percent of his field goals during the regular season, which is less than the success rate of Minnesota's Blair Walsh, who made 87.2 percent of his field goals.

In the Mile High City, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has the odd distinction of being the healthiest play-caller in Sunday's matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Manning will be starting in his first game in more than nine weeks after a lengthy injury. Brock Osweiler, who started in Manning's place, sprained his right knee in December. And Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a sprained right shoulder last weekend.
