Newport Jazz Festival unveils 2012 lineup

(CBS News) The Newport Jazz Festival tradition continues this year with a lineup that includes guitarist Pat Metheny, Susan Tedeschi and the Derek Trucks Band and vocalist Kurt Elling.

Also set to perform is musician Jack DeJohnette, along with guitarist Bill Frisell and singer Dianne Reeves.

The Newport, R.I., festival, which started in 1954, kicks off on Aug. 3 at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Fort Adams State Park will host the Aug. 4 and 5 shows.

This year's sister music event, the Newport Folk Festival, will feature My Morning Jacket, Jackson Browne and Patty Griffin, among others.
