New Zodiac Signs (2011) Affect Prince William, Other Celebs
NEW YORK (CBS) Actress and TV host Kelly Ripa has always considered herself a Libra, as has singers Ashlee Simpson, Gwen Stefani and Paul Simon. No more.
A report Thursday in the Minneapolis Star Tribune contends that our understanding of the signs of the zodiac are off by about a month.
So all those celebrities are now Virgos, along with Jimmy Fallon, Trishia Yearwood and Jeremy Irons, whose sign doesn't change.
Who else is among those with new signs? Well, soon-to-be-wed Prince William was a Cancer but now he's a Gemini; heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne used to be a Saggitarius and is now a Scorpio; and actor Mark Consuelos (Ripa's hubby) and musicians Norah Jones, Eric Clapton and Celine Dion all have moved from Aries to Pisces.
Or maybe not.
Astrologers are saying that there have been two zodiacs for centuries and only one - the sidereal zodiac - is changing. The tropical zodac that most Western horoscopes follow remains the same.
So Kelly Ripa may a Libra after all.
