New "The Muppets" trailer parodies "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (Video)
(CBS) "The Muppets" movie is taking aim at David Fincher's adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" in its newest trailer.
The new teaser is titled "The Pig with the Froggy Tattoo."
The clip mimics the "Dragon Tattoo" trailer's quick cuts and dramatic title cards, which read: "We know we haven't done a parody in a while, but one trailer made us stop 'Dragon' our feet. Get it? Man, that thing was awesome."
There's even a send-up of the Karen O/Trent Reznor cover of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song," which Fincher used in his intense trailer.
Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang are in the clip, along with Jason Segal, Amy Adams, Rashida Jones and Rico Rodriguez. The film hits theaters on Nov. 23.
