New Role As Family Man Suits Affleck Fine

Ben Affleck found time for a little Q&A while at New York's Lincoln Center for a private screening of "Hollywoodland."

The Academy Award-winning screenwriter, in town showing Miramax movie executives a cut of his drama, "Gone, Baby, Gone," spoke to reporters about life as a family man.

Affleck, whose daughter, Violet, celebrated her first birthday not too long ago, jokingly spoke to the media about parenthood, which invariably involves such things as "diaper-duty."

When asked about it, he told TheShowBuzz.com, "It's part of it … You gotta do all that stuff."

The actor, once known as an international playboy, said his trips away from home are tougher to take now that he has a wife and kid.

Affleck won best actor at the Venice Film Festival this year for his portrayal of George Reeves in "Hollywoodland."
