New Obama Ad Hits McCain On Economy
Barack Obama may be spending this week on the beach rather than the campaign trail, but his campaign is going hard on the attack with a new TV ad slamming John McCain on the economy.
The new ad, "Book", continues the Obama campaign's push to tie McCain to the Bush administration, saying the Republican has supported the president "95 percent of the time."
The ad is set to run in no less than 16 battleground states, including four that have gone solidly Republican in recent elections: Alaska, Montana, North Carolina and North Dakota.
The Obama spot also links the war in Iraq to American economic woes, saying McCain wants to "keep spending $10 billion a month for the war on Iraq, while the Iraqis sell oil for record prices."
