New Clinton Campaign Song Says "She Will Mess Up Your Life"

(CBS)

From CBS News' Fernando Suarez:

WESTCHESTER, PA. -- During a sunny outdoor rally in a town one hour outside of downtown Philadelphia, the crowd waiting for Hillary Clinton – who was running over half an hour late – heard a new song added to the playlist of music that candidates play before their arrival: "Invisible Touch," by Genesis.

A review of the lyrics shows that perhaps it may not be the most flattering choice for Clinton. The song starts out pleasant enough, and contains the correct message the campaign is hoping to get across to voters:

She has a built-in ability to take everything she sees
And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her.
She seems to have an invisible touch, yeah
She reaches in, and grabs right hold of your heart.

But as the song continues, it takes an interesting turn:

Well, I don't really know her, I only know her name
But she crawls under your skin, you're never quite the same
And now I know
She's got something you just can't trust
It's something mysterious
And now it seems I'm falling, falling for her.

Other lines made a few on the press perk up:

She don't like losing, to her it's still a game
And though she will mess up your life
You'll want her just the same, and now I know.

She may want to reconsider bringing back her original campaign song "You and I" by Celine Dion.
