DALLAS, Texas (CBS) A Zambian man infected with advanced AIDS pleaded guilty to rape charges in the midst of his trial Thursday just as prosecutors were concluding their case against him, reports The Dallas Morning News.

Nathaniel Tumbwe, 47, who has reportedly been known as a reverend, doctor and a Zambian prince, confessed to raping Carolyn Hudson, 60, in her Cedar Hill home October 2008.

Hudson invited Tumbwe to her apartment for dinner to discuss ministry efforts he planned to begin. Hudson had repeatedly declined his sexual advances, according to the Morning News.

Tumbwe confessed to raping Hudson at her Cedar Hill home, and also pleaded guilty for spreading HIV to another woman during consensual sex during their relationship.

He also reportedly transmitted the virus to another woman, according to prosecutors. All the women were unaware that Tumbwe was HIV-positive, said The Dallas Morning News.

Hudson has not tested positive for HIV, but she has to be tested every year for the next 10 years.

According to the Morning News, Tumbwe is to simultaneously serve a 15-year sentence for each charge and will be up for parole after completing half of his sentence. Once released, Tumbwe will be deported to Zambia.

All victims agreed with the plea deal.
