Mulavi Faqir Mohammed, a prominent Taliban leader and a lieutenant to Baitullah Mahsoud, refuted media reports that stated that he had been killed in a Pakistani helicopter attack on some Taliban vehicles in Damadola last Thursday, according to Jihad Press, an online jihadi publication produced by Yaqeen Media Centre. The article also mentioned that Mulavi Zakirullah was named as a second deputy leader of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
