Mourners Take Plunge In Ledger's Honor
Relatives and friends of actor Heath Ledger gathered at Perth's Cottesloe Beach on Saturday, after bidding him farewell at a service in the actor's hometown.
As the sun began to set, some of the mourners at Ledger's wake swept out of the teahouse towards the ocean.
Ledger's former fiancée and mother of his 2 year-old daughter Matilda, Michelle Williams, kicked off her shoes and was dragged into the crowd as well.
As she waited to dry in the sun, she embraced Ledger's sister Kate, and looked over at the horizon.

Family and friends watched from the restaurant's balcony. As Ledger's father gave his thumbs up, people linked arms with Williams in the middle and watched the sunset.
As the sun finally disappeared behind the horizon the mourners cheered. Earlier, the "Brokeback Mountain" star was cremated in his home town.

The program handed out to mourners featured a photograph of a grinning Ledger sitting on a New York park bench.
It read: "This room is filled with the love we all felt for a great friend who will be missed by all of us. We want to thank those of you who took care of him and participated in his beautiful life."
