(CBS/WTSP) ORLANDO, Fla. - More potential Casey Anthony jurors will likely be dismissed this morning as jury selection continues inside the Pinellas County courthouse near Tampa, Fla. According to CBS affiliate WTSP, more than 30 potential jurors from the original pool of around 100 are set to be questioned Tuesday on whether they can handle the hardship of being sequestered in an Orlando hotel for up to two months.
That process isn't finding a lot of success so far. On Monday, two-thirds of the 66 potential jurors questioned were dismissed, because the judge decided it would be too tough on them.
The trial itself will be held in an Orange County courtroom, but jury selection is being conducted inside the Pinellas County Criminal Justice Center in Clearwater, reports CBS affiliate WTSP.
Judge Belvin Perry has indicated the Orlando area has been so saturated by news coverage of the case that it's too difficult to find a jury of people there who have yet to make up their minds. Court officials in Orlando didn't announce the location of the jury selection until early Monday because of the intense media attention.
Anthony, 25, could face the death penalty if convicted of first-degree murder. She also is charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and providing false information to law enforcement. She has pleaded not guilty and maintains a baby-sitter kidnapped Caylee.
