Miranda Lambert Leads 2010 CMA Award Nominations

NASHVILLE (CBS/AP) The Country Music Association revealed the complete list of nominees today for the 2010 CMA Awards, with Miranda Lambert leading the way.

The former "Nashville Star" finalist received a record-breaking nine nominations, the most for a female country music artist and more than any other artist this year.

Lambert and Dierks Bentley announced nominations in five categories Wednesday morning on "Good Morning America." The first seven categories were announced Tuesday in Nashville.

Lambert  earned nominations for female vocalist of the year, album of the year, single of the year for both "White Liar" and "The House That Built Me," song of the year for "White Liar," musical event for "Bad Angel" with Bentley and Jamey Johnson, and video of the year for both "White Liar" and "House."

Country trio Lady Antebellum earned the second most nominations with five. Lambert's fiance Blake Shelton was next with four, tied with Zac Brown Band.

Lambert is also a contender for the CMA's top award, entertainer of the year, along with fellow nominees Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band,  and Braid Paisley.

The 44th Annual CMA Awards will be hosted for the third time by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 10, at  8 p.m./ET on ABC.
