Mila Kunis: Men don't ask me out

(CBS News) "I don't get asked out," Mila Kunis tells Harper's Bazaar. "This past year, I haven't been home, so who's going to ask me?"

It's somewhat of a surprising admission from the hot young actress, who graces the magazine's April cover.

It's not that Kunis has never been asked out at all, though - last year, Sgt. Scott Moore famously invited Kunis via YouTube to the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, N.C., and she dated fellow actor Macaulay Culkin for eight years. Although they split in 2010, Kunis sounds like she has fond memories of their relationship.

"It was fantastic," Kunis, 28, said. "I mean, I honestly think being single's great. Being in a relationship's great. It's all about the timing. I loved it."

Kunis says when she's not working, she's more of a homebody.

"I don't go out very often," she said. "I prefer to stay home and have a nice little beverage and watch television."

Kunis has many movie roles in the works, including an appearance in "Tar" with James Franco, Jessica Chastain and Zach Braff. She also recently finished filming "Oz the Great and Powerful," alongside Franco, Rachel Weisz and Michelle Williams.

The April issue of Harper's Bazaar hits newsstands March 20.
