Michele Tafoya
Michele Tafoya joined CBS Sports in November 1994 as a reporter and host for The CBS Sports Show and the Network's coverage of college basketball. She currently handles play-by-play for Men's and Women's regular-season college basketball games, and is a host of At The Half. In addition, she serves as a reporter for the Network's coverage of college football, including the Fiesta Bowl.
Tafoya calls play-by-play for the WNBA on Lifetime television, and previously worked for KFAN Radio in Minneapolis, where she served as a reporter-host and Minnesota Vikings sideline reporter. Tafoya was an analyst for the University of North Carolina-Charlotte Men's basketball radio broadcasts (1993), and the University of Minnesota Women's basketball radio broadcasts (1994).
Before joining KFAN, Tafoya hosted a radio sports-talk show in Charlotte (WAQS). Prior to that, she produced the morning drive show at KQLZ-FM in Los Angeles. She also served as a researcher at WRC-TV News in Washington, D.C. After graduation from the University of California at Berkeley with honors and a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, Tafoya earned a master's degree in business administration at the University of Southern California. Tafoya was born December 17, 1964 in Manhattan Beach, California.
