Metallica Rocks Peru for the First Time
After almost 30 years of rocking out together, Metallica still has uncharted territory to cover.
As part of their "Death Magnetic Tour," the heavy metal band will bring Lima, Peru their hard-core guitar riffs and powerful vocals for the very first time, taking the audience "off to Never Never land."
"We are just so happy to be here," said Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich at a press conference in Lima.
Usually the band has to carefully plan out their set list for each show with previous shows in mind. This time they can be open to whatever set list they want.
"It's an open palate as they say," Ulrich said.
"It's still really great to know that there are places that we have never played before," said Metallica frontman James Hetfield.
