McCarthy, Playboy Strike Deal In Vegas
Jenny McCarthy is returning to her Playboy roots.
Don't expect to see her on the cover of the magazine or on a calendar, but rather, she will become the first celebrity Bunny Dealer at the new Playboy Club atop the Palms Casino Resort.
McCarthy will get back into Playboy Bunny uniform — the black leotard complete with cottontail, cuffs and collar — and deal blackjack from one of the club's 10 tables.
"We are honored to have Jenny McCarthy as our first celebrity Bunny Dealer. She is an icon and great representative of the Playboy brand and I couldn't think of a more perfect fit," Palms owner George Maloof said in a statement.
Playboy is old hat for McCarthy. She first appeared in the magazine in 1993 and was named Playmate of the year in 1994. She has written books and hosted MTV's "Singled Out" but today, is most often seen with her boyfriend, actor Jim Carrey.Photos: Celebrity Circuit
In order to get ready for this new assignment, she had to undergo intensive training at dealing school to learn how to shuffle eight decks of cards and many other important skills. McCarthy will work the blackjack tables from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. to deal cards for the general public.
