McCain's Last-Minute Campaigning

NEW YORK CITY -- John McCain stopped the Straight Talk Express at Rockefeller Center and took over a city block bright and early on Super Tuesday morning.
Joining him in the Big Apple were former mayor and presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani, Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. as well as his mother Roberta McCain.
Giuliani, who's been campaigning in the New York area with McCain, worked the stage and tried to rally his hometown voters. In the celebratory spirit, he also told New York Giants fans to make sure they voted for McCain before they attended a victory parade for the Super Bowl winners today.
McCain gave his standard speech, taking swipes at Democrats and others who call for withdrawal of troops from Iraq. He told the audience about his lucky penny and claimed he is superstitious because he's been lucky all his life.
"I have survived so many things that I know it's my chance and my opportunity to serve this country a little while longer," he said.
"We will be as Ronald Reagan said, a shining city on a hill," he added. "We're going to win today, we're going to win the nomination and we're going to win the presidency!"
McCain is headed to California for another short rally before he heads home to Phoenix to watch the results come in.
