McCain: "The Mac Is Back"

HOLLIS, N.H. -- John McCain continues to run into large crowds as he campaigns across New Hampshire.
He walked into cheers, applause and a storm of media during his first stop at Hollis Pharmacy today. McCain scooted through the store at a snail's pace finally stopping to address the crowd. He boasted about his tie for third place in Iowa yesterday saying, "I called Fred Thompson this morning we were in a virtual tie and apparently I'm a couple hundred votes behind him. I called him and tell him, I'm demanding a recount!" McCain shouted. "He hasn't returned my call yet."
McCain told reporters he was feeling enthusiasm like he did in 2000.
"It's great the enthusiasm is there. We're starting to see the pick up of the old lightning in a bottle but we've still got a long way to go."
When asked if he was the "Comeback Kid," the nickname given to Bill Clinton after he finished a strong second here in 1992, McCain growled, "I hate that phrase because it was used by somebody else sometime ago.
"How about the Mac is back?"
