Man wrongfully convicted in triple murder sues NYC

NEW YORK -- A wrongfully convicted Brooklyn man who spent more than two decades in prison in a triple murder is suing New York City, reports CBS New York.

Antonio Yarbough found his mother, 12-year-old sister and another girl stabbed and strangled in their Coney Island home in 1992. His lawyer alleges detectives fed him information and had him sign a false confession, reports the station.

Yarbough and co-defendant Sharrif Wilson were cleared by DNA evidence and released last year. Wilson died in January.

The city's Law Department said it will review the lawsuit, which doesn't ask for a specific amount, according to CBS New York.
