Man wearing Obama mask robbed N.H. bank, police say

(CBS) MERRIMACK, N.H. - Police say John Griffin, a 52-year-old New Hampshire man, robbed a bank in Merrimack Wednesday morning wearing a President Barack Obama mask, CBS Boston reports.

Following the robbery ,which took place around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, police were able to determine the direction the alleged robber traveled and ultimately arrested Griffin, of Newport, N.H.

Police reportedly found a loaded gun on Griffin when they arrested him.

He is charged with robbery and is being held on $75,000 cash bail. His next court date is scheduled for Sept. 20.
