Man murdered for eating popcorn during "Black Swan," say Latvia police

(CBS) NEW YORK - Police in Latvia have reportedly arrested a 27-year-old man after he allegedly shot and killed another movie-goer over popcorn during a screening of Natalie Portman's ballet drama "Black Swan."

Witnesses say the conflict arose when the alleged shooter became angry over how loudly another man was eating popcorn at the screening.

Police say the victim was a 42-year-old man, according to UK paper the Telegraph.

The victim reportedly died in a hospital from his wounds.
