"Mad Men" return draws 3.4 million viewers
AMC's "Mad Men" kicked off its sixth season on Sunday night with a premiere that brought in 3.4 million viewers.
The two-hour episode was down from the 3.5 million viewers that watched last year's fifth season opener, which was a series high for the show, Variety reports.
Last year's "Mad Men" finale brought in a reported 2.7 million viewers, and averaged 2.6 million throughout last season.
The 1960s-set, Jon Hamm-starring advertising drama returned to AMC a week after "The Walking Dead" wrapped up its third season, bringing in a record-breaking 12.4 million viewers for its finale.
