Luxembourg prince to marry U.S.-educated heiress
Another handsome prince is off the market.
Prince Felix of Luxembourg is engaged to marry U.S.-educated German heiress Claire Lademacher, the royal household has confirmed in a statement released on Dec. 13, 2012.
The statement reads, "The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess have the inmense joy to announce the engagement of their son, His Royal Highness Prince Felix, to Miss Claire Lademacher." No date was mentioned for a wedding.
The Prince, 28, is the second son of the Grand Duke and Duchess and second in line to the throne behind his brother Guillaume.. The bride-to-be, 27, lived in Atlanta with her family in the 1990s and attended the Atlanta International School.
A number of Europe's bachelor princes have taken trips down the aisle recently including Britain's Prince William, Monaco's long-time bachelor Prince Albert II and Felix's own brother, Guillaume, who was married Oct. 20 to Belgian Princess Stephanie.
Prince Andrea Casiraghi, second in line to inherit the Monagasque throne now occupied by his uncle Prince Albert, announced earlier this year his plans to marry his long-time girlfriend Tatiana Santo Domingo, who is expectimng his first child in January .
