Longoria Opens Up About Wedding
As lavish as her July 7 wedding to basketball player Tony Parker was, Eva Longoria says it was also "quite simple, traditional and personal."
The "Desperate Housewives" star, who walked down the aisle in an Angel Sanchez gown at Paris' Saint Germain L'Auxerrois church, says in the new issue of Ok! Magazine that everything went off without a hitch and that there were no 'bridezilla' moments to report.
"It's so funny when people kept saying those bridezilla comments. My stylist Robert Verdi and everybody around me was like, 'You're so calm.' I actually don't stress about anything," she says.
Not even the wedding vows, which she recited in French. "She decided I would do the vows in English; hers would be in French. There were some tough words. I'm very proud of her," Parker says.
They picked the 7-7-07 wedding day, not because they are superstitious but because it "was the only day we could both do it!" Parker says.![]()

The couple were surrounded by family and friends on their special day, they even put everybody up in hotels. One desperate housewife was noticeably absent from the star studded affair, attended by Sheryl Crow and Mario Lopez, also a groomsmen.
"I was really sad Marcia Cross couldn't be with us, but she couldn't travel with the babies (twins Eden and Savannah were born in February) We always said from the beginning that whoever is supposed to be here would be here," she says. "We had the perfect number of people."
"Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry said in his wedding speech that the newlyweds can't have kids this year since it's not in the script.
"We're fine with that," Longoria says with a laugh. "We want to spend time with each other, even though we want kids very much."
