Conyers' resignation comes in light of multiple claims of sexual misconduct against him. His son, John Conyers III, plans to run for his seat, and Conyers has endorsed his son. 
  • Jerusalem: The president called Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to tell him that he intends to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The White House has also been finalizing plans for Mr. Trump to announce the U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
