Listen to Pandora Streaming Radio on Your BlackBerry

iPhone owners have long enjoyed the mobile version of Pandora, the Internet service that lets you create your own radio station. Well, why should they get to have all the fun? Pandora Radio is now available for BlackBerry. In case you're not familiar with the service, here's how it works.

All you do is enter the name of an artist, song, or even composer you like. Pandora whips up a station that plays that and similar content. As you listen, you can tell Pandora which songs you like and which ones you don't; the service will further customize your station accordingly.

If this sounds familiar, that's because Slacker Radio offers similar music-streaming capabilities. Both apps are free, so you can give them both a try and decide which one best satisfies your song cravings.

Currently, Pandora is available for various BlackBerry models on AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, with more coming soon. What about T-Mobile? You may be out of luck: Pandora's FAQ page doesn't make any mention of in-the-works support for that network.
