Lindsay Lohan takes over "Chelsea Lately"

Lindsay Lohan went back in front of the cameras to guest-host Monday night's edition of "Chelsea Lately," and didn't shy away from poking fun at tabloid fixtures -- herself included.

"Chelsea [Handler]'s not here, and I actually don't know where she is. But I did see someone who looks a lot like her moving into my old room at Cliffside," the actress said, referring to her recent 90-day stay in rehab. ("A lovely, court-ordered vacation," she joked, before adding, "On a real note, it was really great and wonderful.")

She thanked the "celebrities who kept the tabloid industry alive" while she was away, like Anthony Weiner, Kanye West, Justin Bieber and the royal baby (played by "Chelsea Lately" sidekick Chuy Bravo).

"How come when Kanye acts like an idiot he gets a gold record, but when I act like an idiot I get a police record?" Lohan asked the audience.

She also joined comics Brad Wollack, Fortune Feimsterand Jen Kirkman at a roundtable, which included jabs at One Direction's Harry Styles and Kristen Stewart.

Talking about a recent incident in which the "Twilight" star lost her cool with a paparazzo, Lohan quipped, "I'm just excited that Kristen Stewart finally showed some emotion."

"I will say this, of course she hates photographers -- they got a picture of her kissing a married man in a Mini Cooper," she added, referring to Stewart's trystwith her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

Later in the episode, she interviewed "Orphan Black" star Dylan Bruce.

During her closing remarks, the 27-year-old actress said, "I'm proud to have hosted the first episode in 'Chelsea Lately' history that did not feature a salacious headline about Lindsay Lohan."

The taped episode is just part of Lohan's post-rehab return. She also sat down for an interview with Oprah Winfrey, which airs Aug. 18 on OWN, and her film "The Canyons" was released last Friday.
