(CBS News) Lindsay Lohan received very good news when she returned to court on Thursday -- her final appearance before the judge.

Lohan complied with all the court's conditions, which means Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner ended the star's probation on a 2007 drunken driving case.

Lohan won't have to report to a probation officer, as she completed her required therapy sessions and community service. The judge told Lohan she actually went above her required community service days thanks to a stint at the Red Cross. All this means, Lohan's days in court are also over -- so long as she remains on good behavior.

Lohan, wearing a teal pants suit with her long red locks in a ponytail, smiled as she heard the judge declare, "Probation ends today."

The 25-year-old actress will, however, stay on unsupervised probation until May 24, 2014, for taking a necklace without permission last year.

"I don't expect to see you again," Sautner told the actress, adding that Lohan needs to live her live in a more mature way. "Stop the night clubbing," the judge said.

"I want to thank you for being fair," Lohan told the judge. "It's really opened a lot of doors ... I really appreciate it."

In recent months, Lohan has been charting a comeback, recently posing for Playboy and hosting "Saturday Night Live." She'll soon guest star on the hit series "Glee" and is also attached to an Elizabeth Taylor biopic.
