(CBS) Tests show that actress Lindsay Lohan didn't have alcohol in her system when her SCRAM bracelet went off at an MTV Awards after party, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said.

The lawyer told People Magazine that a urine test taken shortly after the alert showed a negative result for alcohol.

Meanwhile, a source with knowledge of the test results told E! Online, "They did a urinalysis through Medtox labs and it was indicated conclusively that there was no alcohol in her system at that time."

According to People, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office is unaware of the negative test results. Holley denied any allegations that Lohan tampered with the bracelet. The reason why the bracelet went off is unknown. Lohan's mother, Dina, has said that there was a possibility someone spilled a drink on the device.

After the SCRAM incident, a Los Angeles judge doubled her bail to $200,000 on June 8. She must still abstain from consuming alcohol and attend weekly random drug testing.

Lohan awaits a July 6 probation violation hearing at which the judge will determine whether she has met the requirements of her probation. If the judge finds that she has not, she could get up to six months in prison.

Lohan has not commented on the SCRAM incident.
