"Everybody is very glad that it's over," Pinault's lawyer David Aronson told the Associated Press.

According to the New York Daily News, settlement details will be presented to the court as a courtesy on Tuesday where a judge will sign off on the deal.

Evangelista kept quiet after court on Monday. Shortly after leaving, she made a quick wardrobe change and jetted off to the Costume Institute Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she donned a black gown.

Monday's settlement ends the debate over how much Pinault should pay toward the care of the former couple's 5-year-old son, Augustin.

Evangelista, 46, and Pinault, 49, dated in late 2005 to early 2006.

Pinault is now married to actress Salma Hayek with whom he has a daughter.
