Leonardo DiCaprio mistaken briefly for thief
(CBS) Leonardo DiCaprio and a couple of big dudes walk into a jewelry store in Australia. What's the worst that can happen?
In this case, according to the Daily Telegraph, it's that the sales assistant thinks the store is about to get robbed by DiCaprio, who was wearing a hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.
As it turns out, DiCaprio was in the store shopping for a present for his mother, reports the Telegraph. Once the assistant recognized DiCaprio, everything became quite sunny.
The actor is in Sydney shooting a 3D remake of "The Great Gatsby" movie with Baz Luhrmann. DiCaprio starred in Luhrmann's 1996 film "Romeo + Juliet."
