Lawrence Taylor: 'Dancing With Stars' Pals Mum

Lawrence Taylor's arrest for rape has a lot of people talking on Twitter, but his "Dancing with the Stars" co-stars have yet to weigh in.

Taylor competed on the reality show's eighth season, which aired from March 9-May 19, 2009. He was partnered with professional dancer Edyta Sliwinska eliminated during the competition's seventh week.

The other competitors that season included actor Gilles Marini, "Bachelor" star Melissa Rycroft, rodeo champion Ty Murray, rapper Lil' Kim, "Jackass" star Steve-O, country singer Chuck Wicks, actor David Alan Grier, "Girls Next Door" star Holly Madison, Go-Go's rocker Belinda Carlisle, actress Denise Richards, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Olympic gymnast (and season champion) Shawn Johnson.

None of the competitors have spoken about Taylor's arrest on their respective Twitter accounts as of Thursday afternoon. Neither, for that matter, have members of the current season of "DWTS," which just sent home actress Pamela Anderson on Tuesday.

Taylor, 51, was taken into custody by the Town of Ramapo police after being accused of raping someone in the Holiday Inn Holidome Hotel in Suffern, N.Y. Details surrounding the rape have not yet been released other than the location and that it occurred early Thursday morning. Charges against the Hall of Fame linebacker will be filed once police complete their investigation.
