Lara Logan Chats About Afghan Border Battles
In August 2010, "60 Minutes" and correspondent Lara Logan spent several weeks along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border to report on the constant influx of foreign fighters who are battling U.S. troops there.
Almost as soon as they arrived at Combat Outpost Zerok in eastern Afghanistan, they came under fire. In fact, while traveling with members of the 101st Airborne Division, they came under fire several times.
Logan and "60 Minutes" cameraman Ray Bribiesca talked about their experiences covering this story and wars for a segment of our new web show, "60 Minutes Overtime."
On Monday, Logan and producer Max McClellan answered question from viewers via CBSNews.com, the "60 Minutes" Facebook page and other venues.
