Lamborghini, Bentley, both stolen, both recovered, no arrests say Phila. police
(AP) PHILADELPHIA - Authorities say they have recovered a Bentley and a yellow Lamborghini with a Batman sticker that were stolen by thieves who broke into a Philadelphia apartment, took the keys and sped off in the luxury cars.
Investigators say the thieves broke in through a second-floor window in the city's East Falls neighborhood early Tuesday. They took the keys to the two cars, along with about $2,500 and two flat-screen televisions.
Police say one of the vehicles, a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo with a Batman sticker on the back window, was recovered around 6:30 a.m. The other, a 2006 black Continental Flying Sport Bentley, was found around 9:30 a.m. No one was in either car and police have no suspects.
Chief Inspector Scott Small says it appears the owner was targeted.
