Lakers' Steve Blake fined $25,000 for cursing at fan
Lakers point guard Steve Blake was caught on camera Friday night cursing out a courtside fan late in the fourth quarter of a loss to the Clippers. On Tuesday, it cost the NBA veteran $25,000.
In the video, Blake can be seen arguing with a man in the first row while the Clippers' Chris Paul is shooting free throws. Later, after fouling out, the guard has some words with the fan again before walking to the Laker bench.
Blake, who was starting for the injured Steve Nash, finished the game with 8 points and three turnovers as the Lakers lost their third straight.
Back in March, Blake was attacked online by Lakers fans after he missed a possible game-winning 3-pointer against the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal.
