Lady Gaga joins Tumblr

(CBS) - We just can't seem to get enough of Lady Gaga. Little monsters and non-fans alike follow the intriguing superstar via Twitter, Twitpic and Facebook. What will she say or do next, we all wonder? Now, you can follow the pop icon on Tumblr, too.

In it, Gaga posts fashion-y pictures and "deep" quotes.

Six hours ago, Gaga posted a picture of herself sitting on a toilet wearing ripped cut-off shorts and a black bra with the caption, "private in public." Two days ago, she posted a quote, "he ate my heart, so I put his in the Alejandro video."

Since launching the "Amen Fashion'' page on Monday night, about 40,000 new users joined the site each day after, Tumblr "media evangelist" Mark Coatney told the Boston Herald.

Yay for Tumblr though some might say otherwise after reports surfaced that the name was acquired by not-so-kosher means. One of Gaga's loyal fans already had a Tumblr called "Amen Fashion." He was asked by the team at Tumblr to rename his site so Gaga can have the name. He agreed, and changed it to Amen Fashion1. But, that wasn't good enough.

PopDash reports that Tumblr then emailed the user, known simply as "Dylan," "Since Amen Fashion comes from the title of a Lady Gaga song, since you have never posted to amenfashion.tumblr.com, and since it is not the primary blog on your Tumblr account, we feel giving amenfashion.tumblr.com to Atom Management and Lady Gaga is the reasonable thing to do here. As you seem to be a massive Gaga fan yourself, we hope you see things the same way."
