Kym Johnson Has Tasted Victory and Defeat on "Dancing With The Stars"
NEW YORK (CBS) This is not the first time that Kym Johnson, the blonde Australian ballroom dancer who partnered David Hasselhoff, was the first to be eliminated from "Dancing With the Stars"
In season six, she and magician Penn Gillette were booted off in the first week, which that year featured a double elimination.
But she has known victory as well.

She and entertainer Donny Osmond won the mirrorball trophy in season 9 and she came close in seasons 4, when she was partnered with singer Joey Fatone, and season 7, when NFL star Warren Sapp was her partner. In both those seasons, she and her partner took second place.
The 24-year-old dancer competed in three seasons of the Australian version of "Dancing With the Stars" before she joined the American show in its third season.
