Kritter Karnival In Key West

It was quite a sight in Key West, Florida, over the weekend, as dogs, cats and many other animals gathered at a mansion to strut their stuff in the first "Kritter Karnival."

Some of the pets seemed a bit embarrassed by their outfits, though their owners were not. They watched proudly as the 170 dogs and other pets took part in the event.

The carnival was a fundraiser for the Key West Kritter Patrol, a volunteer group that provides support and care for the local animal shelter.
