Kim Kardashian recreating Will and Kate's royal wedding cake

(CBS) Kim Kardashian and fiance Kris Humphries may be adding a bit of British royal flare to their wedding.

The reality star is having her cake resemble the one Prince William and Kate had at their wedding, a source tells Us Weekly.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge served a traditional 8-tier fruitcake created by baker Fiona Cairns at their reception on April 29. It was decorated with cream and white icing and over 900 individually iced flowers and leaves

According to Us, Kardashian, who will walk down the aisle in Vera Wang, and Humphries will have a 10-tier white cake with chocolate-chip icing with black-and-white decorations created by Hansen's Cakes in Los Angeles.

The couple is planning to tie the knot on Aug. 20, in Montecito, Calif.
