Ki-Jana Carter Out For 8-12 Weeks
Cincinnati Bengals running back Ki-Jana Carter broke his left wrist Sunday and will be out for eight to 12 weeks.
Carter caught a 6-yard pass from Neil O'Donnell near the end of a 23-14 loss to the Tennessee Oilers, then fell backward out of bounds untouched, landing awkwardly.
He was taken off the field on a cart. X-rays after the game found the fracture. He was not available for comment.

Carter has suffered one injury after another since the Bengals made him the top overall pick in the 1995 draft. He missed what would have been his rookie season after tearing ligaments in his left knee during a preseason game.
He lost the starting job to Garrison Hearst in 1996 and tore his rotator cuff early last season, but played through the injury. Corey Dillon's emergence halfway through the season left him a backup again.
