(CBS) TV has indeed not killed the radio star. Reality TV's Khloe Kardashian will soon hit the airwaves in Dallas, hosting her own radio show on MIX 102.9 - KDMX-FM starting Jan. 30.

The daily, one-hour program, dubbed "The Mix Up with Khloe Kardashian Odom," will air from 12 p.m. - 1p.m. CST and will find Kardashian taking requests and chatting with her celebrity pals.

Kardashian tweeted the news on Tuesday, noting that she's "So excited" about her new gig, a convenient choice, as she'll join husband Lamar Odom in Dallas during his NBA season with the Mavericks.

Kardashian isn't new to radio: In 2009, she was a temporary host on Miami's Y-100, heading up the show, "Khloe After Dark," while shooting "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami."
