Kevin Federline dishes on bromance with fellow Britney Spears ex Justin Timberlake

Apparently Britney Spears' ex-beaus Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline have lots of things to bond over, but the Brit isn't one of them.

Federline, Spears' ex-husband and the father of her two sons, gave an interview to Us Weekly and dished about his friendship with Timberlake, who dated Spears from 1999 to 2002.

"We're cool. Me and J are," he told the magazine. "I actually just went to his last show in Vegas and hung out with him, got to see a lot of old friends."

Federline dished about spending time with Timberlake, whom he used to back up dance for and who is married to Jessica Biel. "I'm friends with all the security guys. [They're] great, they're incredible. We've actually -- guys that work with him have worked with us and still work with me, still to this day."

"My best friend is his choreographer so we have mutual friends, and I mean, we've gone out golfing, we've hung out."

As for any awkwardness on their golf course and club outings about having former flame Spears, 33, in common, Federline says it's a non-issue, and if anything, his loyalty to Timberlake predated his affair with Spears.

" You get older, you grow up, and you realize that was just a time in your life. S--t happens," he said. "In the beginning when [Britney and I] first got together, it was awkward and I felt bad -- I felt like maybe I should have called [Justin] and talked to him," Federline, 37, said. "But I didn't have his number."

Federline is now married to Victoria Prince, with whom he has two kids, Jordan 3, and Peyton, 14 months. He also has two older children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson.

Spears has moved on as well, though her engagement to longtime music manager Jason Trawick was called off in January 2013, she is now linked to movie producer Charlie Ebersole.
