The tour is a success before it starts. Billboard reports that Chesney has sold 625,000 tickert for "Goin' Coastal" and tickets at some venues aren't yet available. Chesney is the biggest ticket selling artist in country music. He's sold more than 1 million tickets in seven consecutive tours.

Not on the list of dates on Chesney's site is his April 3 performance in Houston. The free concert, at which Chesney will headline, is part of the NCAA Men's Final Four weekend.

Chesney released "Hemingway's Whiskey" in September 2010. The album has spawned two #1 singles on Billboard's country singles chart.
