Kelly Clarkson says Blake Shelton will officiate her wedding ceremony

Blake Shelton will play a big role when Kelly Clarkson ties the knot.

Backstage at the 48th annual ACM Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night, Clarkson revealed to Nancy O'Dell of "Entertainment Tonight" that Shelton will conduct her wedding ceremony.

"He's not only singing [at the wedding], he's marrying us," Clarkson told O'Dell.

The "Stronger" singer is currently engaged to Shelton's manager (and Reba McEntire's stepson) Brandon Blackstock, who proposed to Clarkson in December.

This isn't the only high-profile wedding Shelton plans on officiating. Clarkson said that he'll also conduct country singer Ashley Monroe's upcoming nuptials as well.

Clarkson doesn't seem too concerned with Shelton's credentials: "We'll be technically already married when the ceremony happens. So it's not like it's going to be null and void or anything because it's Blake. "
