Kat Von D, Jesse James will marry this summer

(CBS) - Despite the breakup reports flying around, Kat Von D and Jesse James say they've have not called off their wedding or broken up.

In fact, the motorcycle mogul and "LA Ink" starlet are planning on getting married this summer, James, 42, tells People magazine.

"That day can't come soon enough!" he says. "Everything is on track."

On Thursday, Life & Style reported that the two have "put a pause on their relationship" and cited a source that said James had confirmed the split to friends.

Calling the breakup reports "absolutely not true," James adds to People that he and Von D, real name Katherine Von Drachenberg, are "still going strong."

Von D, 29, also weighed in, saying "That's the furthest thing from the truth."

The pair, who got engaged in January, have been dating since last summer, following the end of James' marriage to Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock.

Their divorce was finalized in June.
