K-Fed On The Cutting Edge

First Super Bowl commercials, now major art exhibitions.

K-Fed's mug will appear along with other famous faces like Angelina Jolie and Madonna in "Face of Fashion," a major art exhibition being held at the National Portrait Gallery in London. It will be the first major exhibition to look at portraiture in fashion photography.

The image of Federline with his throat slit was shot by sought after fashion photographer Steven Klein and is a part of a series called the "Cut Throat Series." It was photographed in 2005 before his split with Britney Spears.

Two other models participated to the shoot and none of the images has been previously published.

2"It's like a classical painting," Klein told Britain's Times newspaper of the graphic shot of Federline. "The slash, the make-up, is a mask that reveals who the person is. For me, the break in the skin shows that all portraits are lies. To see through the skin is to see someone's reality."

"Face of Fashion" focuses on the portraits of five fashion photographers including Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Corinne Day, Paolo Roversi and Mario Sorrenti.

Curated by Susan Bright, "Face of Fashion" opens in conjunction with London Fashion Week on Feb. 15 at the Wolfson Gallery in the National Portrait Gallery.
