Justin Bieber hides out in a tree in Boston, continuing week of peculiar behavior
Troubled pop star Justin Bieber has been raising a few eyebrows lately -- and running himself up a tree is only the latest move that has fans worried.
The "Sorry" singer was spotted in the Boston Public Garden Wednesday afternoon climbing a tree and planting himself on a branch he was straddling, legs dangling. Bieber was in Boston for a series of shows as part of his "Purpose" tour.
Bieber recently posted a declaration to Instagram that he would no longer take photos with fans in public because "I feel like a zoo animal, and I want to be able to keep my sanity."
His behavior since arriving in Boston has some fans worried that it might be a more pressing concern than previously thought. The day before his tree-climbing escapade, Bieber was spotted in the same Boston park strolling around barefoot, feeding squirrels and lying in the grass. He posted a selfie from that lounge session with the caption, "Eyes are the window to the soul."
And the mom of a fan who attended Bieber's Tuesday night show in Boston said his performance left a lot to be desired. "He said he had a bad experience the last time he was in Boston, and this one's already off to a better start," she told People. "He was in a glass box onstage. He was literally in a glass case of emotion. He didn't even try. At one point he just stopped singing all together."
