Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spotted at American Music Awards afterparty
It's another indication that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship may not be over just yet -- the two stars were spotted attending an American Music Awards afterparty on Sunday.
People published a photo showing Gomez clutching Bieber's arm. According to the magazine, the two were photographed chatting with Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, at the Los Angeles event.
News of the couple's split came a week ago, but the young stars have been spotted together on subsequent occasions, fueling speculation that they may be reconciling.
They reunited in Los Angeles last week, reportedly going to a comedy club Wednesday and surfacing at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills the next day. But on Friday, TMZ reports, Gomez, 20, and Bieber, 18, had a "disastrous" dinner date, with Gomez leaving less than 10 minutes into the meal. The two reportedly left in separate cars and Bieber followed Gomez to her home, where the website says he was denied entrance at the gate.

Bieber took the top prize at Sunday's AMAs, beating out Rihanna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Drake to win favorite artist of the year.
