Joy-Anna Duggar announces new courtship
Fresh off of Jinger Duggar’s wedding, another Duggar sibling might have a relationship on the horizon!
Joy-Anna Duggar excitedly announced her new courtship on Tuesday. “This is my friend, Austin,” the 19-year-old reality star tells TLC fans in a video on the network’s website.
“I just asked her to enter into a courtship with me,” Austin says.
“And I said yes!” Joy adds.
Joy’s proud parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, also posted a video message to their family’s blog, supporting the new couple’s decision. “Congratulations, Joy-Anna and Austin on the new courtship,” Jim Bob tells his daughter in the clip.
“We’re really excited for you, Joy,” Michelle adds. “We’re so thankful for Austin, he is a great guy. We’re excited for the future for what God has in store for you guys.”
The Duggar family recently celebrated the nuptials of Jinger and soccer pro, Jeremy Vuolo, in a woodland-themed wedding that took place earlier this month. Jinger wore a stunning lace-covered dress with a 13-foot train, and shared her first kiss with Jeremy after saying “I do.”
The wedding will be featured in a two-hour episode of Counting On that is set to air early next year. The new season of the Duggar’s TLC reality show will also feature Jinger’s budding courtship.
