NEW YORK (CBS) Joran van der Sloot's attorneys have a tough battle ahead in his trial for the murder of Stephany Flores, if the evidence photos and police documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com are to be believed.

Aside from the graphic coroner's report detailing the brutal way in which the Peruvian woman died - beaten about the head, strangled and then suffocated with a shirt that was soaked in her own blood - police also found that same shirt in Flores' car, according to the documents RadarOnline.com posted on their website Friday.

Investigators also discovered that, before van der Sloot allegedly robbed the 21-year-old of her poker winnings from the night before and of her credit cards, he is seen on surveillance video bringing coffee back to the room after Stephany was killed, presumably to take a chilling coffee break next to the dead body before fleeing to Chile.

Van der Sloot was then spotted on surveillance video leaving the hotel and it is believed he took his alleged victim's car. It's not clear from the documents or the investigation where he drove after leaving the hotel but the car was later found with a parking ticket outside a casino called "Atlantic City" -- the very same casino where he and Stephany Flores had played poker the night before, according to the documents obtained by the online gossip site.

An illustration of the room where Flores spent her last moments alive shows how her body was found lying on the floor next to the bed "in [a] lateral position with the arms extended and legs against the wall," according to the documents.

The documents also contain a list, whose title is translated roughly as "ways and circumstances how the murder was committed," which includes "physical aggression," "preparation for escape" and "escape itinerary."

Police say van der Sloot confessed last week to killing 21-year-old Stephany Flores on May 30, in his hotel room after the two met playing poker at a casino. The murder happened five years to the day after Alabama teen Natalee Holloway went missing, after last being seen leaving an Aruba bar with van der Sloot.

Van der Sloot is also the prime -- and some believe, only -- suspect in the disappearance of Holloway, whose body has never been found.
